I'm not numb...
I still feel so many things...

but.

So many of them have lost intensity.

In music, a compressor/limiter is a type of effect that allows sound waves to become somewhat equal. It boosts the softer notes up and sqaushes the louder notes down, so the sound becomes uniform in a way.

This is exactly what my reasoning does to my emotion. Keeps the highs and the lows in check. I guess its a safety mechanism of sorts (opponent process theory...look it up =)
Things that should be intensely exciting and captivating have lost some luster.

I don't think its permanent

Technicalities...

Going to try and make the transition from pen and paper to silicon and dot matrix...

We'll see how it goes.
